If you want to see bold and daring outfits like no other, look no further than at what celebrities wear at red carpet events or even after parties. From strange, futuristic-looking ensembles (we’re looking at you Lady Gaga’s 2010 MTV Video Music Awards meat dress) to barely-there swathes of fabric, you know celebrities won’t disappoint.
Think, Miley Cyrus’, hmm, let’s call it a “dress” at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, or Amber Rose’s outfit at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, which was basically beads strung together sporadically. Then, of course, the iconic diamond dress Rihanna was decked in at Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in New York in 2014, or even taking it way back with Jennifer Lopez’s green floral dress at the 2000 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
What I’m trying to say is, yes, celebrities aren’t shy to bare it, if not all, as much as they can, for their public appearances. And all we have to say to that is, “You go girl!” as well as, if you got it, flaunt it, am I right?
Someone else who is definitely not shy to ‘flaunt” what she’s got is supermodel and reality TV star, Kendall Jenner. She proved it at the 2017 Met Gala with her black, glittery La Perla dress, and now again for the after party of the Harper’s Bazaar Icons event over the weekend.
Her look for the night was a sleeveless, skin-tight, sheer bodysuit, which, let’s be honest, not many of us would be able to pull off.
And this look is giving us some major flashbacks to Bella Hadid’s outfit for the Harper’s Bazaar Icons Event, where she donned a daring nude Mugler bodysuit which was custom-made for her by creative director Casey Cadwallader.
I can just imagine the two talking it over deciding to wear the similar outfits but at different events, because, duh, they don’t wanna steak each other’s spotlight.
Kendall’s own outfit for the red carpet event was quite the contrast to the after-party outfit, which featured massive sleeves and pant legs, which, as per usual, she also owned.
