Makeup Artist Uses Real Bugs To Complement Her Eye Looks

Ever heard of the saying art resembling reality? Well, this makeup artist’s looks are way too realistic because to make her eye makeup looks even better she uses real bugs. Yes, real bugs. And you may say yes people have used butterflies and ladybugs for their looks before but nope,  makeup artist Jasmine (@butterflyjasmine49) does it differently.

The artist creates complex eye looks that include beetles, grasshoppers, bees, mealworms and other kinds of insects. Jasmine posts her insanely good work to her 60k followers on Instagram. She has over 600 pictures and no, not all of them feature a bug. Her creativity and talent go beyond, she is a great artist, she posts different pictures including Halloween makeup looks which are perfect and if you are in need of any inspiration you should definitely check them out.

Jasmine makes sure to post her pictures and in the description box in each and one of them she adds a fun fact about the insects that are featured in the eye look. It is obvious no harm is done to the insects during the “photoshoots”  because she also writes how and where she got them. There are a lot of questions that are going around my mind right now.

How does she do it? How can she stay still until the shot is taken? But one thing is for certain, she looks good and more people need to recognize her talent. Here are some of them down below.

1. Worms as eyelashes? That’s a look!
