Malin Andersson Shares A Touching Poem Following Her Baby Girl’s Death At Only Four Weeks Old

After losing both of her parents to cancer, the Love Island alum, Malin Anderson, is now mourning the loss of her one-month-old baby girl, Consy, who passed away on Tuesday. The 26-year-old shared the tragic news on Instagram, together with a heartfelt message.

Anderson shared a touching poem by Amy Farquhar, Little Butterfly, on her Instagram story, which is a poem written from the point of view of a child who died and now is telling their parents they will always be with them.

The heartbreaking poem starts with the lines “I lived my life inside you, cocooned in all your love. So mama, papa please don’t cry. I’m still with you, just up above.”

The poem goes on with the baby saying its mother’s heartbeat is the sweetest melody, one that angels play every night before bed.

I know how very much I’m wanted, I feel so very blessed. Of all the mummy’s in the world, I got the very best.

Andersson named her baby girl Consy after her late mother who passed away in November 2017 after a long battle with breast cancer. Her father also died from the same disease, after battling with skin cancer twice.

The 26-year-old shared a picture of her baby girl together with the heartbreaking message that read:

Completely in love with you.. and my Mum just wanted you to be with her. Your time wasn’t ready yet. Mummy loves you. I stayed with you each day.. you opened your eyes one last time for me and I saw those beautiful big brown eyes. I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anymore. Go be with grandma Consy. My angel. Rest in peace.

Extending our deepest sympathy for Malin and Tom in their loss.
