Time for your daily dose of heartwarming stories! We’re just as excited to read about the cutest meet in-between a young British man and an elderly woman!
We’re talking about Jack, a young British man, who met Violet, an elderly woman, at the airport flying to London.
They met at a New York airport earlier this month and they instantly got along. A true example of friendship which knows no age or generation boundaries.
Violet, the 88-year-old retired nurse, from New York, had been traveling to meet her daughter in the UK, whereas Jack had been returning from a family trip. Their friendship and instant bond have moved a lot of people ever since.

Violet was traveling in Economy while Jack was in First-Class. However, the minute Jack boarded the plane he went on searching for Violet and traded seats with her. She flew in first-class and Jack took her seat.
Violet & Jack’s story was later shared on Facebook by one of the flight attendants of Virgin Atlantic, she had shared a few pictures, one of them being of Violet enjoying her First Class seat.
Of the hundreds of flights I’ve operated, I’ve had the pleasure of looking after footballers, supermodels and some Hollywood movie stars but let me tell you about my two favourite passengers EVER!
Jack and Violet (I wish she was called Vera or Rose). Jack and his family purchased seats In our upper class cabin for a flight home from New York, but when he got onboard, Jack went and found violet in economy and swapped seats with her.
He then sat on the row of seats directly next to the economy toilets and never made a peep or asked for anything the rest of the flight. No fuss, no attention, literally did it out of the kindness of his own heart, no one asked him too [sic].
The post went on saying, that the nurse hasn’t been able to visit her daughter for a while ‘due to a knee replacement.’ The flight attendant also admitted that it was always Violet’s dream to ‘sit at the front.’ Lucky for her that Jack made that come true.
The post proceeded:
You should of [sic] seen her face, when I tucked her in her bed after supper. She said her daughter won’t believe her, and wanted a ‘selfie’ to prove it, but didn’t have a phone or an email address. These photos are getting sent in the post tomorrow, can you even cope.
