Whether you are celebrating a birthday party, bachelor or bachelorette party, or a gender reveal party, the balloons are the perfect addition to spruce up the environment.
These rubbers inflated mostly with air always bring back a nostalgic feeling of bygone days, when we were so excited about blowing them up, a process which isn’t always such fun, as they usually require a good set of lungs or a balloon pump, not to mention the patience and time.
Sometimes, we even went on experimenting to give our balloons different shapes, only to end up with a popped up balloon and an increased heart rate.
This, however, doesn’t seem to be a problem at all for the Japanese artist Masayoshi Matsumoto. He is a balloon artist who has already been famous for creating some incredible and intricate animal-shaped balloons.
Speaking for Metro, he explained how he got inspired, saying:
I started making these seven years ago, I was really inspired by wildlife pictures and wanted to see if I could create realistic animals of my own.
Masayoshi creates larger than real beetle larva and spider crabs, producing latex masterpieces that blow away the simplistic balloon animals we have come to expect. They are multi-colored and not bound to any particular species.
It takes a minimum of two hours for this self-taught artist to create a more simple balloon creation, whereas a more intricate project last up to six hours.
It becomes even more mind-blowing when you realize that this incredible artist doesn’t use stickers, markers, or any other supplementary material. He simply creates his multi-colored animal kingdom out of blowing and twisting balloons.
