Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Possibly Skip A Part Of Princess Eugenie’s Wedding

The wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank is happening now! *excited*

As you might know, after the ceremony, Queen Elizabeth is hosting a lunch for the couple, held at the Windsor Castle, followed by an evening reception at Royal Lodge. The festivities will continue on Saturday (this is not a regular wedding, this is a royal wedding) – an event with a fairground and food stalls.

But as it appears, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex might not be attending Saturday’s festivities. If you remember, the royal couple will start their 16-day tour in Australia, New Zeland, Tonga, and Fiji, early next week, as it has been reported. I’m pretty sure they won’t be the ones packing the clothes for the tour, but still, it will be a long flight from London to Sydney and a little rest never hurt anybody.

Harry and Meghan are not the only royals to miss the festivities. According to PEOPLE, Camila, the Duchess of Cornwall, will not even attend the ceremony on Friday, since she’s currently on Scotland with Prince Charles. Instead, she will be attending a harvest festival and will be on another engagement in Highlands. The Duchess was invited for these events long before the wedding date was set, therefore she could not ‘drop out’ at the last moment, according to Clarence House.

It’s not easy being a royal…

And it doesn’t end with Camilla. Prince Philip and Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, have been in bad terms ever since she divorced Prince Andrew in 1992. So it’s a big question mark whether he will be attending the wedding, or not.
It should be noted that he made it for Harry and Meghan’s wedding, in May. A source told PEOPLE:

He does what he wants. He made a supreme effort for Harry. I would be very surprised if he did go because he is so estranged from Fergie. I think he will decide at the 99th hour.

Either way, we wish Eugenie and Jack a lifetime of happiness!
