Traveling has become such an important part of our lives in the days we are living in. The great and eye-opening experiences that you get from traveling, are truly magical. Think of that this way. You have read all about different places in the world, you know they exist from the history books, and visiting them is literally dreams coming true.
Every time you travel to somewhere outside of the place you live, you take back with you a lot of cultural details, a lot of knowledge, and of course, a fridge magnet and a postcard. Sometimes, even gifts for people you love and care about. Or, let me rephrase it better, things that they tell you to buy for them so they have a memory.
As much as you might be a traveling freak, you are always eager to visit, more, more, and more… Below find a list of some wanderlust places that you will want to visit. Don’t blame it on us if you are already packing your bags.
1. Iguazu Falls, Brazil
Igazu Falls is the world’s largest waterfall system, so there’s definitely no shortage of views here. With 275 different drops, it’s awe-inspiring from every vantage point.
2. Amalfi Coast, Italy
One look at the Amalfi Coast and you may believe that you’ve found heaven on earth.
3. Hallstatt, Austria
Spend your vacation wandering the 16th-century alpine houses, visiting an ancient salt mine, or even visiting a glacier garden.
4. Petra, Jordan
Several scenes from the Hollywood blockbuster Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade were filmed in Petra.
5. Provence, France
Provence seems to be nearly everyone’s favorite bit of France. The natives are friendly, the summer weather is superb, the wine is good, and a pastis before dinner is delightfully numbing as you sit in the shade with little more to do than plop tiny, clear, and perfectly formed ice cubes into a cloud of anise-flavored liquor.
6. Hampshire, England
The British bluebell forest is the stuff fairytales are made of. The scones with jam and cream are a close second, though.
7. Banff National Park, Canada
Canada’s first national park and the world’s third, it has a rich heritage as one of the world’s most awe-inspiring mountain destinations.
8. Fiordland National Park, New Zealand
This remarkable natural environment features stunning fiords, spectacular waterfalls, and snow-capped peaks.
9. Bora Bora, French Polynesia
Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Surrounded by sand-fringed motus (islets) and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef, it’s known for its scuba diving.
10. Antelope Canyon, Arizona
This Navajo canyon was completely shaped by wind and water. When shafts of light beam in, it’s total magic.
11.Keukenhof Gardens, Netherlands
Every spring, 7 million tulip bulbs, daffodils, and hyacinths bloom almost simultaneously, making this the most beautiful spring garden in the world. The bloom only lasts from March until May, so plan your trip accordingly.
12. Zanzibar, Tanzania
Tanzania isn’t just for safaris. Head to this Indian Ocean archipelago for virtually-deserted beaches and crystal clear waters. The capitol’s historic center, Stone Town, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that mixes East African, Arab, Persian, Indian and European elements.
