The Beat-Herder Festival Friday 13th July – Sunday 15th July

festival

The Beat-Herder festival in the Parish Church is the festival to attend if you truly want to have a surreal weekend partying in a real life fortress. Glitter, crazy fancy dresses, carnage, you name it, they got it. Whatever your imagination, Beat-Herder’s got it.

Beat-Herder began in 2006 as a rave between 1200 people in a forest of the quiet northern town of Clitheroe. While the festival used to feature handmade signs, old restored cars, and homemade hymn books, it now looks like so much more but without losing its originality.

The festival’s line-ups consist of Django Django, Patrick Topping, Artwork, Camelphat and so many others. Beat-Herder is the place everyone will soon be talking about.
