People use different makeup and skincare products to treat their pores and make them less visible. Though these products do a pretty good job in fighting pores, unfortunately, they can be quite expensive.
However, the good news is there are a few homemade remedies that work just as well! They’re easy to make, they’re cheap, and best of all, they’re completely natural. Scroll down to read about our favorite do-it-yourself remedies to treat pores at home.
1. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar works great as a natural skin toner. It tightens pores, balances pH levels and fights against skin infections. You can make this toner at the very comfort of your home: take 1 tbs. of apple cider vinegar and add 5 tbs. of drinking water, and put the mixture in a spray bottle. After you wash your face, spray the toner all over your face and let it dry. Moisturize after.
2. Aloe Vera
You can use aloe vera gel as an overnight cream. Aloe vera does a great job and keeping your skin moisturized and tight. It also cleanses and helps remove the oils and dirt from clogged pores. Simply squeeze the gel from the plant and apply it on your face.
3. Baking Soda
Baking soda works as a cleanser. Add baking soda and drinking water in equal amounts and apply it all over your face. Massage gently for one minute before rinsing off. It’s not recommended to do this every day because baking soda can dry your skin. Always moisturize after using it.
4. Egg White and Lemon juice
Take two egg whites and ad a few drops of lemon into the mix. Mix well until you achieve a homogeneous texutre and apply it on your face. Leave it on for four minutes before washing it off with cold water.
5. Almond and Lemon Juice
Take a couple of almonds and soak them overnight. When you get up the next morning, mash the almonds and make a paste. Put in one tablespoon of lemon juice and you’re done! Leave it on your face for 30 minutes before you wash it with cold water.
