Nicole Kidman really is a chameleon, as Vanity Fair puts it on their most recent cover.
The actress, who is one of the most renowned stars in Hollywood, looked as good as she does in everything when she posed for a photoshoot for Vanity Fair’s May issue.
The long-haired blonde beauty, however, showed a pretty drastic change from her signature look by debuting a spiky dramatic pixie cut. For the shoot, she wore an oversized trenchcoat paired with black tights and stiletto heels, as well as leather trousers and a military-inspired coat left open. Her outfit changes also included a yellow, ruffled Gucci coat as well as a loose, white Givenchy shirt.

As for the magazine’s cover, she donned a sleeveless, low-cut dress and had her hair slicked back, with her baby blues being the real spot-stealer, even more so than the string of diamonds around her neck.
She spoke to the magazine about her life in Nashville, her husband Keith Urban, her children, and her part in HBO’s Big Little Lies.
Speaking about her daughters with Urban, Sunday, 10, and Faith, 8, she said she does not allow them a phone nor an Instagram, adding, “I try to keep some sort of boundaries.” Which, with such a famous mother, are probably needed.
And the two young daughters share their parents’ artistic abilities in their own ways as well, not that either of them would ever force their girls to follow suit. “You can’t really get kids into anything, I’ve realized. You can push them a bit, but motivation is a really hard thing. I mean, nobody motivated me to be an actor; if anything they tried to deter me,” Kidman said.
The 52-year-old actress also spoke about the upcoming second season of the hit HBO show, Big Little Lies, in which she stars alongside Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Zoë Kravitz, and Shailene Woodley.
Kidman and Witherspoon joined forces to bring the show, based on the novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty, to the small screen, calling the experience of working with such a group of accomplished women a “singular experience I’ll never have again.”
Big Little Lies is Kidman’s return to the small screen after 30 years, and it’s been an extremely well-received project. The second season also boasts the addition of Meryl Streep and will be back on the screen on June 9, 2019.
