Penguins are aquatic, flightless birds that are extremely adapted to life in water. In fact, statistics show that penguins can spend almost 75% of their life in water. Science also shows that they are one of the cutest species living off the face off the earth. Joking, but seriously, they are so cute. Plus their romantic behavior is so adorable, it will make your heart melt. Plus, did you know that penguins are monogamous and faithful, that they often stick to one mate for life? Amazing isn’t it?
If you’re still not convinced, just look at these two lovebirds:
my aunt just came back from South Africa and she sent me this video she took of this lil penguin couple 😭 pic.twitter.com/TkBpT5z9RV

The video received more than 45,000 retweets and we can totally tell why. They’re holding on to each other’s flippers for the love of God. Get you a man like that!

A lot of people were very surprised to see the two penguins in such a beach-y setting. Hey, they were probably on vacation.
I’m sorry why is no one asking what 2 penguins are doing in South Africa

Contrary to popular belief. Penguins don’t just live in Antartica. They also inhabit South America, Africa, Australia, & New Zealand.

Apparently, African Penguins would much rather stay in a warm environment and can be found on the coast in South Africa. Did I mention the fact that they are monogamous? This makes the video even more adorable.
In fact, some Twitter users were clearly very jealous of the relationship between the two birds.
