7 Phrases That Could Mean Your Relationship Is Bound To End

Relationships have their ups and downs, and some are bound to end sooner or later. Being in one requires having a lot of patience and understanding while being independent and unique at the same time. No matter if you’ve been together for 2 months or 5 years, there will always be highs and lows. However, there are certain things that you say to your partner that don’t help your relationship. Here are 7 phrases a partner says that could mean the future is not bright for you two, courtesy of AuntyAcid.

1. “I don’t have to explain myself to you!”

This phrase just means that your partner will end up doing something bad. They are probably thinking about something or someone else. Be careful.

2. “It’s not my problem!” or “It’s your problem!”

When you’re in a committed relationship, this statement doesn’t make sense. Nothing can just be your or your partner’s problem. If you are in a relationship, it means that you are dealing with many issues together. This may mean your partner is distancing themselves from you.

3. “If you don’t like it, find someone else.”

This is probably the worst thing to hear from your partner. It could mean one of these two things – your partner is either trying to end things with you, or they are concerned that you want to end it. This just brings their insecurities forward and it’s not a good sign.

4. “I don’t believe you.”

Context is really important here, as your partner might be joking about something. However, if it happens in the heat of an argument, and they are accusing you of something, your relationship is certainly deteriorating. Trust is the foundation of any good relationship.

5. “Do what you want.”

Again, this one means two things – either your partner doesn’t care about your actions, or they are waiting for you to make a bad move. It can mean that your relationship is bound to fail.

6. “You’re overthinking it.”

If you’re talking to your partner about something that’s really important to you, and he says this, it can be very hurtful. In case your partner does this a lot, it may be time for you to say goodbye.

7. “I really love you.”

Of course that saying ‘I love you’ is good, but when your partner says ‘I REALLY love you’, it probably has another meaning. First, it’s very unnatural, because why would you have to convince your partner that you REALLY love them? Then, it also depends on context.

In the end, every relationship is different.

Here is how you can tell what your partner is like according to their zodiac sign.

I like books, flowers, makeup, and long walks. That pretty much sums me up.
