Let us all agree on something, dogs are the cutest creatures brought to this world. Not leaving babies aside, so let me rephrase this. Doggos AND babies are the cutest and purest creatures alive. They are innocent, honest and sometimes, ‘just sometimes’ we can’t get enough of them.
Nevertheless, there are people out there who don’t share the same opinion regarding doggos. Some, not only are not fond of dogs but also abuse and neglect them. With this said, yes, people who are cruel to animals do exist. How? To be frank, I really don’t know and don’t get it. How can you neglect such sweet creatures that whether you are having the best or the worst day of your life, they never seem to let you down?!
Let me lead you to how the story of Bertram, the Pomeranian goes. Unfortunately, the Pomeranian had to learn the lesson that not everyone likes dogs the hardest way there could be. His breeder left him behind because ‘he was too big to sell.’ The Pomeranian ball of fur was only 5 months old when the dog breeder abandoned him.
This breeder really has the tendency to make me lose faith in humanity. Thank you for that, dear *inserts sarcastic tone.*
However, this doesn’t mean that good-hearted people do not exist and Kathy Grayson is here to prove that to you (and me.) The artist from New York, Kathy Grayson luckily found Bert on a Petfinder and she immediately decided to adopt the pup.
You are probably curious to the little ball of fur, so at this very moment, we’re blessing you with some adorable pics.
What caught the artist’s attention before adopting the pup, were the pup’s eyes who was initially listed as ‘Jasper.’ The artist from New York told Bored Panda:
“I flew to Tulsa and drove to the town to pick him up, it was a wonderful adventure. The shelter was sad to see him go, he definitely had gotten some special extra love there.”
It looks like the artist from New York was not the only one to have fallen in love with the Pomeranian since the pup has gained 93K followers on Instagram.
In ‘his spare time,’ the doggo works as an art connoisseur works in her owner’s gallery, The Hole. She also admits that people love Bertie and from time to time they make time to go visit the Pomeranian in the gallery along with their doggos.
“I love when people come to the gallery to see Bertie or when they bring their dogs to meet Bertie! The gallery is free and open to the public so come on by and pet him!”
His owner Kathy Grayson found him on a pet adoption site and brought him to NY where she owns an art gallery.
Saying that “Bert is a wonderful guy and makes people happy, the internet, and social media is built for cute animals, people need an antidote to all the nastiness,” Kathy is not surprised at all to the pup’s incredible social media success.
It looks like the doggo that was abandoned by his breeder has a home now and a lot of friends.
Kathy also admits that “Bert is very calm and chill, inquisitive and silly.” I have a feeling that Bert and I would really get along well with the same traits we have. You’d fall in love with me, Bert. Okay, stop, I sound like I am into dogs. I am not, I swear! I mean I love them… Nevermind!
Little munchkin, your breeder probably regrets giving you away.
‘Love me, human.’ – probably, the doggo.
‘From 1 to 10, how cute do I look?’ – Probably the doggo.
Kathy also said:
“I gave him his own Instagram as he was taking over my art gallery page! I need to post paintings and people just wanted to see Bert.”
How cute, oh my, oh my!
Ball of fur? Ball of snow?
I can’t, he’s too adorable!
It looks like someone enjoys the life in the city that never sleeps, huh?
Hooman, let me sleep!
You love how cute I look, don’t you?
Just recently, Bertie turned 5 years old and he made sure to celebrate his bday in style.
Adding some peanut butter to the birthday celebration!
Do I love this cute, innocent, little creature? Guilty as charged!
