Prince Louis’s Birthday Portraits Are Way Too Cute For Words

Yesterday was Prince Louis’s first birthday and as per royal tradition, the Cambridges released their youngest son’s birthday portraits.

And they are too adorable for words!

The little rosy-cheeked prince looks adorable as he smiles, showing his first baby teeth. In the portraits, he is wearing a burgundy sweater which compliments his baby blue eyes. I think it’s safe to say that it probably drew a lot of “aww’s” by anyone who saw them.

The pictures were shared one day before Prince Louis’s birthday on Kensington Palace’s official social media accounts with the caption: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share three new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow. The photographs were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk.”

The royal family always shares pictures of the youngsters before important events and milestones, like birthdays or the first day of school.

The third of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children, Prince Louis is currently the third in line for the throne and, apparently, a complete delight!

Some babies tend to be very restless and unruly, but not our little prince. According to a source who spoke for Us Weekly“He’s very quiet and content, always smiling and happy.” The Duchess of Cambridge also backed the claim up at her son’s christening in July, saying that he is “very relaxed and peaceful,” and that she hopes “he stays like this.”

Speaking of royal babies, another one is on the way any day now.

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is due this month with her and Prince Harry’s first child but the couple took a little time to wish Prince Louis a happy birthday via social media – you know, like any normal family…

Commenting on Kensington Palace’s Instagram post dedicated to the prince, they said, “Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us 🎂🎈xo.” The comment was made from their new Instagram account, which broke records when it was first set up with the fastest number of follows on the first day.

Okay, so now that Prince Louis’s birthday came and went, we are patiently waiting for the Sussex baby…
