After witnessing Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s nuptial vows on the 1st of December, we can’t get our eyes away from them anymore. The pair tied the knot over the weekend and they held two ceremonies at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace, meaning a Christmas service and a traditional Indian ceremony.
During the first ceremony, our eyes were drooling over Priyanka’s Ralph Lauren Gown that featured a 75-foot veil. On the other hand, Nick awed with a double-breasted tuxedo by the same brand. His ensemble featured a piece of Priyanka’s dress inside the lapel. The piece rested over his heart and had the words ‘my jaan’, meaning ‘my life’, written on it. Such a lovely and meaningful detail!
The wedding lasted for four days and it was held in India with 225 invited guests. However, even though days have passed since their wedding, it looks like they are still somehow involved in wedding ceremonies.
A week and a half away from their big day, Priyanka and Nick attended the wedding of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal in Mumbai on Wednesday. Priyanka flaunted a sparkling peach lehenga, made up of a long sleeve crop top and matching full skirt. While Nick donned a black tux.
The 36-year-old actress shared on her Instagram profile, a picture of her and Jonas in their wedding guest attire. Priyanka also shared a video of her tremendous dress on her Instagram Stories feed.
Among the lavish wedding’s guests was also the former U.S. Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Ambani, who is Priyanka’s friend, is the daughter of India’s richest man, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani. Whereas, her husband, Piramal, is the son of Piramal Group’s billionaire chairman Ajay Piramal. Same as Priyanka and Nick, the newlywed pair had many pre-wedding events, which is a tradition in India.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé was the one to perform on the pre-wedding festivities of Isha and Anand.
Congratulations to the new couple!
