Some people think glasses make you look nerdy, others think they’re sexy. But like them or not, when you can’t see without them, you have no option but to wear them all the time. And in cases like this, it often happens that you are left with marks on your nose and under your eyes.
One of the reasons for this is the glasses’ weight. If they’re too heavy, they will likely leave an impression on the bridge of your nose. After a while, the marks will deepen, and the continued use will eventually cause pigmentation. Another cause for the appearance of marks is because your glasses are too tight.
When you say it like that, it’s easy to see the solution. Wear lighter glasses that fit well and choose a pair with softer frames. However, if you have already acquired these marks, or if it’s impossible to get lightweight eyewear, here are some tips that will help you get rid of them, courtesy of StyleCraze.

Whenever possible, remove your glasses to relieve the pressure on your nose and under your eyes. While they’re off, apply some of these natural remedies to reduce the appearance of the marks.
1. Aloe vera gel
Aloe vera gel has a very soothing effect on the skin. Cut an aloe vera leaf, take a little bit of the gel and apply it on the affected area. Let it stay until it dries, then wash it off with cool water.
Peel some potatoes, then grate them or slice them and make a paste. Apply a generous amount on your nose and under-eye area. Leave it for 15 minutes then rinse with water. Regular use of this paste will make the marks gradually fade away until they disappear completely.
Place some cucumber slices over the darkened area. The cucumber will cool your eyes and heal your scars. Squeeze some cucumber juice and apply it to your nose to reduce the marks left by your glasses.
Squeeze one lemon and mix the juice with an equal amount of water. Using a cotton pad, apply the solution to the affected area. Wait 15 minutes, then rinse with water. If you apply this remedy regularly, it will bleach the pigmentation of your skin.
Rosewater is a natural skin toner and you can use it as you would a regular toner. Get a soft cotton pad, dip it in rose water and dab it on the under-eye area. Wait a little while, then rinse. Keep applying this method and eventually, the marks will vanish!
Make a mixture of some honey, milk, and a small number of oats. Apply it to the affected area. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then wash it off. It won’t take long until you notice the results!
Not only will the orange peels help with the marks caused by your glasses, they will also reduce your under-eye circles. Let the peels dry and then grind them. Add a little bit of milk to make a paste. Apply the paste and wash it off after 15 minutes. This mixture will nourish and lighten your skin.
Massaging the darkened area with almond oil will help you get rid of the marks. The oil also contains vitamin E which is very good for your skin.
