Want A Perfect Relationship? Be More Like Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds

When I was a kid, we had Barbie and Ken. But nowadays, kids have new role models – and their names are Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. I guess it’s just a question of time when someone decides to put up dolls of these two, but until then, all we can do is study them!

Notebooks at the ready, people, because thanks to VT, we’ve finally discovered their secret!

Wanna be perfect? Maybe just try to be more like them.

But first, it’s even a miracle how these two managed to avoid each other for so long. They both moved in the same circles, and had been around for years. But it was only at the set of Green Lantern that Ryan and Blake got to know each other and decided they’re gonna be ‘just friends.’ This was in 2010. It didn’t last very long because they got married in 2012, eventually spawning two sweet daughters: three-year-old James and one-year-old Ines.

But how did it turn out so well? Turns out it had to do with the bizarre nature of Hollywood. Speaking on Good Morning America recently, Lively said:

“In general, it’s nice to have someone who understands what you’re doing. Especially because our job is so weird—you have to be ‘married’ to other people, it’s all so strange. It’s never normal, even when you’re both doing it.”

The actress had something to say about awkward sex scenes too:

“It’s helpful to know when you’re acting that you’re in a relationship with someone else, that that’s not what’s actually happening. Because I have friends who aren’t married to someone who’s in the business, so they’re like: ‘Oh, so you’re not actually making love in that scene?!’ And I’m like: ‘No, no, no, no, definitely not.'”

Weird cookies: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds seem to be the perfect match for each other.

The star of Age of Adaline was also quizzed about her husband’s hilarious ‘Happy Birthday’ tweet:

And her response was perfect:

“He’s so funny, but [he needs] a lot of therapy.”

Well, there you go. All you need to do is just… Be Ryan Reynolds or Blake Lively. Simple, with a dash of therapy.
