Revolution Beauty London Has Launched A Spooky Highlighter Just In Time For Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner, which means, we all get to be our beautiful and slaying selves without having to feel bad if your neighbor Karen will judge you. And just in time for Halloween, the Revolution Beauty London has really captured the collective mood by launching a liquid highlighter called ‘Blood of My Enemies’. Oh, that’s a strong name. It’s just that there’s something very spooky about collecting the blood of your enemies into a skull-shaped vial and turning it into a sinister, glow-enhancing glitter. This is the Halloween beauty equivalent version of taking lemons and making lemonade.

The brand has actually launched four spooky liquid highlighter shades, with Blood of My Enemies being one of them. The others come in Envy, which is a white highlight tinted with green, Lover’s Wrath, white with purple-pink undertones, and Paranormals which comes in icy white. Although the blood shade looks deep red in the bottle, it is most probably lighter than it looks when applied to the skin. The brand suggests mixing a ‘small drop’ of the product into your foundation or applying it the same places you’d apply regular highlighter – cheekbones, bridge of your nose, or cupid’s bow. However, one reviewer recommends using the red shade as a lip and cheek stain as the product “will stain.”

The Blood of My Enemies along with its three spooky pals are available on Revolution Beauty’s website, with each shade costing only $8. Grab one to complete your Halloween costume, or just keep them on your dresser, because, what better way to own your enemies that with a popping highlighter, right?
