Rihanna Did Not Watch The Super Bowl – Mocks A Fan Who Did

Last night was the Super Bowl LIII and there were millions of fans who tuned in to watch, Rihanna was not one of them. The singer would not care less that the Super Bowl was on and she decided to go on Instagram and make it known. In the video, she posted on her Instagram stories Rihanna was seen mocking a football fan who was watching the game.

The 30-year-old was on a place when she posted the video of herself. She captioned it:

how can we watch the super bowl on the flight? Me: …

The mogul then zoomed into her face. In the next video of her Instagram story, she zoomed into a female passenger who was on the same plane as her only a few seats behind her. The singer captioned the video “weirdo.” Riri was not impressed with the woman watching the football game and she was not afraid to be vocal about it on the internet.

At last, Rihanna uploaded the final photo to her Instagram story: an illustrated drawing of former NFL player Colin Kaepernick. She captioned it:

It isn’t a surprise that Rihanna doesn’t support this year’s Super Bowl. A few months ago there were rumors that the 30-year-old refused to perform at the halftime show to show support to Kaepernick. Colin took a stand against racial inequality back in 2016 when he kneeled during the National Anthem. According to the US Weekly organizers told them that Riri doesn’t agree with the NFL’s policy:

The NFL and Fox really wanted Rihanna to be next year’s performer in Atlanta. They offered it to her, but she said no because of the kneeling controversy. She doesn’t agree with the NFL’s stance. She supports Colin Kaepernick.

Ever since Kaepernick has not been able to find a team willing to sign him. And even though he wasn’t playing tonight, social media was with him. The hashtag #ImWithKap was trending on social media. Tweets supporting him, including celebrities like Ava DuVernay, Nick Cannon and LeBron James.

Kaepernick himself went on Twitter and thanked everyone for the support.
