There are all sorts of things families do to get their bonding time in – they do a weekly trip somewhere fun, a weekend movie marathon, road trips, picnics, DIY projects and many many more. Or, as one family does: recreate Oscar-nominated movie scenes and share them with their followers on Instagram.
Maggie Storino, now a mother of three, started the tradition seven years ago when she received a black tutu for her baby daughter, and, taking inspiration from the Oscar-nominated movie Black Swan, she took a picture of her in it and shared it to social media. She immediately received amazing feedback, so she decided to keep doing it.
Now, she frequently posts famous movie scenes recreated adorably by her three daughters on their Instagram account, Don’t Call Me Oscar, which has nearly 20k followers. “One family’s journey through the best picture nominees,” it states on their account.
They’ve improved through the years, and their shoots are now much more intricate, and the models Sophia, 7, Sadie, 5, and Sloane, 2, channel their inner movie stars like absolute pros. Future Hollywood stars in the making, am I right?
So, scroll down to see some of their recreations through the years, and let us know which is your favorite – though, with the adorable little actresses, it’s understandably hard to choose.
