That is to say, this dog was dumped by his owner on the streets right before Christmas. The heartbreaking video took the internet by storm and people everywhere have been trying to find the dog a new home, and many have offered theirs.

In the video, we can see as a man enters his car, this way leaving his dog behind. The clip was shared by Rachel Butler, who works as a regional manager for an animal welfare charity, RSPCA. See below.

Talking about this whole situation, in an interview with Bored Panda, the press representative of RSPCA admitted they are grateful that the story of this dog was shared around the world.

The representative claimed that Snoop is such a ‘loveable character’ and ‘enjoys being around people’ as well as gets along well with other dogs. They said:

He just loves getting close to people, sitting between their legs and having cuddles, and is certainly enjoying lots of love and affection from our staff.

After the video went viral, even famous people offered to open their doors to Snoop, including Snoop Dogg. He said:

There is always room for another dog in Casa de Snoop.

Talking about who dumped the dog, the representatives said that the investigation is ongoing, saying:

Our investigation about who dumped him is still ongoing and so we continue to urge people who have any information to contact us on 0300 123 8018.

The RSPCA representative proceeded:

We have been overwhelmed by the hundreds of supportive messages for Snoop and all the people who have offered to give him a home, including some well-known faces such as rapper Snoop Dogg.

However, seems like the dog cannot be rehomed right now since he is being moved to a rehomed center where professionals will check Snoop’s health so they can find him the perfect owners.

British journalist, Andrew Neil, and comedian, Sue Perkins also offered a home to the dog.
