Has it really been ten years since Susan Boyle won our hearts on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009?!! Oh boy, the time really does fly!
Well, the Scottish singer made a comeback last night with an amazing new performance on America’s Got Talent, reminding us once again why she became a worldwide sensation, not that we ever forgot.
You might have heard that this year, the greatest acts from around the world have joined the competition for a special season of AGT known as The Champions, or as host, Simon Cowell likes to call it: the “Olympics of talent. ”
And of course, Boyle, once again earned a standing ovation for the amazing performance last night.
The contestants were competing in hopes of taking home the so desired Golden Buzzer, and it’s no wonder that with the first performance, Boyle made it to the finals.
And while we will always remember her incredible voice singing “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miserables, last night she amused everyone with a cover of “Wild Horses” by the Rolling Stones.

Mel B told Boyle she had “an angelic voice,” adding she was only giving her “what she deserves” when she slammed the Golden Buzzer.
And while the Buzzer sent Boyle straight to the finals, she still has some pretty tough competition from the show’s other acts like magician Shin Lim, and ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer. Another competitor sent to the finals is comedian Preacher Lawson, who was voted from the show’s fans.
Susan Boyle’s hit albums have topped the charts in the UK, as well as have been sold over 20 million copies around the world. She joined the competition claiming she has “something to prove,” calling herself a champion “for those who don’t have the confidence to do things, for those who don’t have a voice (and) the ones who people tend to ignore.”
The talent show returns on Monday, January 14, with 10 more performers. Fan favorite Darci Lynne Farmer is one of them.
