The upcoming American musical romantic fantasy adventure film, Aladdin, directed by Guy Ritchie has already started gathering fans around the world. It is a live-action adaption of the animated film with the same name by Disney in 1992. Aladdin stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, alongside the likes of Will Smith, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban and more.
I mean, we’re pretty much obsessed with Disney’s Aladdin… Can I even count the times I’ve watched that piece? And to be quite fair, I’m super excited for the live-action adaption to be out! I already got my popcorn ready. However, in the released trailer, we can finally get to look at some excerpts of the movie and it’s safe to say, seems like it’s gonna rock.

Lately, we have been seeing quite a lot of adaptions to our favorite classics – and although the classics are irreplaceable, their adaptions have proven to be another version of amazing. Simply the trailer of Aladdin is giving me the chills. Could it be because it resembles the original too much? Or just because Will Smith is out there in the form and shape of Genie? Or because Princess Jasmine is too beautiful to be put into words? WHAT. IS. IT? Oh, nevermind.
The film will be out on the 24th of May!
Since we’re talking about Will Smith, almost 24 years after he and Martin Lawrence joined forces for Bad Boys – seems like they have finally returned. More specifically, the action/comedy movie was initially released in 1995 and now it’s coming back in 2020 with a third movie named Bad Boys for Life. Will Smith took to Instagram to share an image of Miami detectives, Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett of Bad Boys for Life, where we can see the duo with guns and badges on display. Pretty cool!
