However, make sure you don’t keep the ice for too long. A few minutes are enough to help the bite mark heal.

2. Honey

For thousands of years now, honey has a history of medicinal uses. This thanks to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. When it comes to treating mosquito bites, honey is no less important, Healthline writes. Take a small drop of honey and put it to the bite mark. It will not only make ease itching but will also help to reduce inflammation.

3. Baking Soda

Another home remedy to help you with mosquito bites according to Healthline is baking soda aka sodium bicarbonate. To make the baking soda paste you need to mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with water until it has a paste form. Apply the mixture to the bitten skin and leave it for 10 minutes. Then wash away and the itching will soon stop.

4. Onion

Tears and smell are not the only things that onion brings. Onions and garlic can also help to heal mosquito bites according to Healthline. Cut a fresh onion and apply a piece to the bite mark. Leave it for several minutes before washing it off.

Here’s how to prepare this home remedy. Take a bit of garlic into the affected area and let it sit for 10. However, if the skin starts irritating stop the treatment immediately. You can also chop the garlic in small pieces and mix it with unscented lotion. In this case, you will be safer from the skin irritation but also the garlic scent will not be much felt.

6. Vinegar

Vinegar as well has found its use in medicine for many years now. If your bite mark itches too much, apply a drop of vinegar on it. It can also help as a natural disinfectant if you’ve been scratching the mosquito bite too much.

7. Chamomile tea

This is another natural remedy that has helped us in many health issues for many years now. Chamomile tea can speed up the healing process and reduce inflammation. Take a chamomile tea bag and soak it in water in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then squeeze and apply it directly to your bite mark for 10 minutes.
