The Iranian teenager aka Jolie’s doppelganger, who caused controversy with her transformation, has revealed her real face in side-by-side snaps. Last year, she made headlines all around the globe for supposedly undergoing 50 procedures to look like her idol, Angelina Jolie. The result was a ‘zombified’ version of the star.
She admitted to having gone through a nose surgery, lip fillers, and liposuction. Anyway, most of her transformation was due to makeup and photo editing.
Sahar Tabar, the 20-year-old girl from Iran, had amassed more than half a million followers on her Instagram page. She has since made her Instagram account private.
Anyhow, we can now see how she looks all natural, without any makeup on or photo editing. Some side-by-side snaps she has lately shared are to show us the real her.
With her signature missing, she looks different with long dark hair, brown eyes, and quite thinner lips. You can see the difference between her with and without makeup/photoshop below:
It looks like she also removed the blue contact lenses, and her nose is far from being as pointed as before.
‘I did not even think about being like Jolie. Also, I did not want to resemble the cartoon character the Corpse Bride.
Now I understand that I have something to do with them, but I am a muse myself and remembering someone is not an end in itself.’
Sahar insisted that much of her altered appearance is down to using makeup and photo editing.
Photoshop, is that you?
She told Sputnik: “This is Photoshop and makeup. Every time I publish a photo, I paint my face in an increasingly funny way. It is a way of expressing yourself, a kind of art. My fans know that this is not my real face.”
In another Instagram post, she wrote:
“The picture that you’re scrutinizing, even though I didn’t like it, I kept it in… I must say I only had [indeterminate number of] surgery, not 50 surgeries…
I thought these people are probably living in the 18th century and they haven’t seen or heard of technology or makeup and they are really surprised.”
