Tips On How To Naturally Grow Beautiful And Long Eyelashes

We all know that when you put makeup on, the eyelashes make the whole look. However, eyelashes have a better purpose than just that. They prevent any dust or anything that can go inside the eyes and harming them. I am the type of person that loves voluminous eyelashes. I love fluffy and long ones. The thing is, putting eyelashes on is a struggle for me, the glue just doesn’t cooperate with me. It’s either too dry, not tacky enough, or too liquidy.

And then there is the eyelash extensions, which are heaven sent. But taking care of them, making sure they don’t fall off and are not damaged, takes a lot of time, which is something we don’t have nowadays. Everybody is so busy, life is so hectic, we need something that’s quick and doesn’t take too much time out of our days.

In most mornings, a little bit of concealer, mascara, chapstick and I am ready to get out of the door. If you’re a person that is tired of fake eyelashes, doesn’t want to get lash extensions but want your own natural ones to look as if you have fake ones on then taking care of the growth of them is crucial. Thicker lashes, long, beautiful ones don’t usually grow the way we would want without the care needed.

Here are some tips that will extend the life of your eyelashes, and grow into beautiful, long, fluffy ones.

1. No Rubbing

Dermatologist Jeannette Graf, MD, of Great Neck, N.Y suggests not to rub your eyes. Treat your eyelashes with care and don’t tug at them. The roots where lashes grow is very sensitive and you don’t want to damage them. When you take your makeup off, try to go around your eye area. Scrubbing them won’t give a better result. Take it easy and slow, you’ll get the same result by going go slow as well.

2. Hydrating

Hydration is always important. Same goes for your eyelashes, too. Castor oil is perfect and immensely nourishing for your natural eyelash growth. Apply it with a q-tip close to your lash line. Leave it on for at least fifteen minutes or overnight. Repeat the process as you see fit. However, you’ll see a difference after several months of using it daily.

3. Remove Mascara

This one should be an understatement. Taking your makeup off before going to bed is essential to keep your whole face breathing while you’re sleeping. While removing it, be careful to not pull or rub on your eyelashes. Dried clumps of mascara can break your eyelashes. It’s important when you are using mascara to comb through the lashes with a clean wand to get rid of the clumps.

4. Mascara Wand

The longer you keep a mascara, the more bacteria will collect in it, which will result in getting a pink eye or an eye infection. Buying disposal mascara wands will be a choice you’re going to love! Not only are they sanitizing and you can use them only a few times but you can get a bunch online at a really cheap price.

5. Lash Curler

Even though it’s perfect to curl your eyelashes and have them look fuller and lifted, you have to be careful when you do curl them. Many people have pulled their eyelashes off trying to get a better effect. Don’t pull! It’s crucial. Be gentle and don’t tug your eyelids.

And most importantly, something that a lot fail to mention is living a healthy life. Eating healthy, exercising, staying hydrated throughout the day play a big role in the healthy growth of your eyelashes as well. Take care of yourself, your body and other things will follow. Lastly, how do you take care of your eyelashes? Do you apply these tips also?
